Rebecca Angel

Growing up in a family deeply rooted in both music and law, Rebecca developed a profound appreciation for intellectual property from an early age. She is a proud member of the Copyright Society of the USA and grew up attending copyright conventions with her father Dennis and late uncle Robert Angel. Her commitment to legal scholarship was evident during her time in law school, where she served as a member of the American Constitutional Society and participated as a student panelist, discussing pivotal Supreme Court cases. At Pace Law School Rebecca was a Constitutional Law Dean Scholar, where she conducted weekly review sessions for first-year law students, helping to shape the next generation of legal minds.
Rebecca’s artistic side shines through her strong musical background. She graduated from Ithaca College in 2017 with a degree in Vocal Jazz Studies. As a musician and songwriter, she has released her album Love Life Choices (2021) and her EP What We Had (2018) with veteran producer Jason Miles. Collaborating with her father, Rebecca, a member of BMI, has co-written songs and performed with him, including notable venues in New York City as well as various copyright conventions, blending their shared passions for music and law.
With a keen understanding of the artistic side of the entertainment industry, Rebecca is in a unique position to combine her talents to the fields of copyright and entertainment law.
