It is with great sadness that we mourn the sudden death of Robert (Bob) Angel on February 3, 2024.

He was born and raised in New York and spent his later years in Reston, Virginia with his beloved wife and daughters. Although he spent over 30 years in Virginia, he was a New Yorker at heart.

As teenagers, Bob and his younger brother Steve were in a band called “The 3 ½” who toured with  “Herman Hermits” where Bob’s talent as an accordian -turned-keyboard player was in full display.

He graduated from Brandeis University Magna Cum Laude in 1972 and later Boston College of Law in 1976.  He was an integral part of The Law Of Dennis Angel since 1987, a successful copyright lawyer, and a proud member of the Copyright Society for almost 40 years where he was an enthusiastic participant in the annual tennis tournament.

Bob is survived by his wife Myra Angel, daughters Lauren and Jacqueline, brother Dennis and wife Linda, brother Steve and wife Diane and nieces Stephanie, Michele and Rebecca and their families.
